What are the hours the Westmont Police Department open?

The Westmont Police Department lobby is open daily Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM The lobby is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and village-observed holidays that fall on a weekday. After business hours, citizens can reach the Police Department dispatch center through the use of the after hours call box which is located inside the lobby of the main entrance of the Police Department at 500 N. Cass Avenue.


How can I pay a parking violation?

  • By mail using the envelope provided. (Cash and checks accepted)
  • In person at the Westmont Police Department, 500 N. Cass Avenue., during normal business hours only.  (Cash, checks, VISA and Mastercard accepted)
  • Any time of day at a payment drop box location (Cash and checks accepted):
1.  Outside the Westmont Police Department main entrance; or
2.  Across the street from Village Hall (31 W. Quincy Street) near the train depot.

Check payments should be made payable to the Village of Westmont.


What is an Administrative Towing Fee?

Administrative towing fees are charged when an arrest is made for an offense listed in the link HERE.


Where do I go to appear for an Administrative Hearing?

Administrative hearings are conducted at the Westmont Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy Street, Westmont, IL. Hearings are generally assigned and held on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM.  Click to view hearing calendar.

Where do I go to appear in Traffic Court?

Traffic court, for minor traffic offenses, is located at 4000 Saratoga Avenue, Downers Grove, Illinois 60515. Court dates for the Westmont Police Department are assigned on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM.

At the Westmont Police Department:
If you have used needles, securely stored in a sharps container, bring your personal-use only container to our free kiosk. The sharps box kiosk is located inside the lobby of the Westmont Police Department, and is accessible during business hours: Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. This kiosk is not intended for commercial, business, or medical facility use.  When available, residents can obtain a free personal-use only sharps box by contacting the Records Department in-person, during business hours.  Supplies are limited.
