Village of Westmont
Date Issued: April 18, 2013
Due to the severity of the flooding issues over the past 24 hours, Mayor Pro Tem Sue Senicka has declared a State of Emergency in the Village of Westmont.
This declaration assists with the Village’s effort to communicate the extent of the damage of this situation to DuPage County as well as eventually seek State or Federal funding if and when it becomes available. Several other DuPage County communities have also declared a State of Emergency.
Following are some updates and safety tips regarding this situation:

Waters can vary in depth and current causing vehicles or people to be swept away.
