[ARCHIVED] Make It Your New Year’s Resolution To Volunteer In Westmont

Westmont, Illinois

Date Issued: December 26, 2018

Are you considering any New Year’s Resolutions for 2019?  If yes, maybe consider being a volunteer in your community!

“Being a volunteer is infectious,” said Village Trustee and community volunteer Linda Liddle.  “Once you give it a try and see how much it benefits the community, chances are you will keep at it and do even more.  And make a few friends, too!” Liddle has volunteered in a variety of capacities over the years including Westmont Special Events, Westmont Emergency Management Agency, Citizens Police Academy, Westmont First, Westmont Environmental Improvement Committee, and more.  Adds Liddle, “If you want to make a difference in your community, I encourage you to get involved.”

The Village invites everyone to be active in your community. There are many opportunities to get involved and influence positive change through volunteering.  Whatever your interests, we have an activity, program, or event for you.
