The next phase of the downtown Westmont Central Business District (CBD) alley project is scheduled for September and is expected to be completed by December. Construction activities will require the complete closure of the Village's alley east of Cass Avenue from Irving to Norfolk.
The scope of the work will be similar to the previous downtown alley projects including pervious brick pavers, pervious concrete, storm sewer installation, and new alley aprons. The Village awarded the contract to A-Lamp Construction and will include installation of erosion control, tree protection, and traffic control.
