“With National Fire Prevention Month coming up in October, along with the Fire Department’s 95th Anniversary Celebration, the volunteers of Westmont First decided to create a Red Ribbon Campaign to show our support for first responders,” said Westmont First Chair Bruce Barker. “We cannot thank our Fire Department personnel enough for all that they do.”
The red ribbons can be seen throughout downtown Westmont along Cass Avenue from Naperville Road to south of the BNSF railroad tracks. The ribbons will continue to be up through the end of October.
