Posted on: February 8, 2018[ARCHIVED] PVPN Announces Auditions for Guys and Dolls
Mark your calendars and get ready for the Progressive Village Performance Network’s (PVPN) 2018 summer production of Guys and Dolls! This popular musical comedy has been enjoyed by audiences and performers of all ages. Auditions for the June production will be held on March 3 from 5-9 p.m. and March 4 from 1-5 p.m. at the Westmont Park District, 75 E. Richmond Street. All roles are open and community members of all ages and levels of experience are invited to participate.
PVPN is a community theatre company in association with the Westmont Park District that fosters artists and audiences alike to enhance Westmont artistically. Established in 2011, each year PVPN presents six performances in the community and is involved with Wicked West Fest, the Haunted Forest, and Holly Days, and sponsors the Frozen Film Festival.
“PVPN gave my son his first taste of performing on stage and it was a great experience,” said Westmont resident Jill Dly. “It is so awesome this community has a theatre program that continues to inspire and work with our kids to give them confidence and build strong friendships in the process.”
