The Village of Westmont hosted a Community Dialogue on Dec. 2 to obtain community comment and feedback on its Draft Strategic Plan for 2021. Information from that meeting has been integrated in the final draft, which has now been published on the Village Website for public inspection. This final draft will go before the Village Board on Jan. 7 for consideration.
“We want to thank everyone who has been part of this process,” says Village Manager Stephen May. “We feel that this new Strategic Plan will be a valuable tool for our community for many years to come.”
The plan is a result of numerous public meetings and interviews over the past six months. These meetings generated ideas and perspectives from residents, staff, businesses and others. Once a final plan has been adopted, the Village will focus on creating an implementation plan and timeline.
