The first phase of this year’s coat drive was a big success. More than 130 coats were collected and will be donated to area pantries to be given to local families in need. Congratulations and thanks to the employees of the Village of Westmont, Park District, Westmont Library, and School District 201 who coordinate the drive. The second phase of this year’s drive will be from Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 through Friday, Jan. 16, 2015. Look for details to be promoted around the first of the year.
