“Our community has been actively discussing this important topic since the historic flood in April 2013,” says Westmont Communications Director Larry McIntyre. “At this time, we are scheduling several public presentations regarding the future of a community stormwater program. In December and January, the Village Board will be considering some important decisions regarding how this project might be funded and we need community input before we move forward.”
The Stormwater Program Presentation Schedule will be as follows:
Sat., Nov. 22 - 11:00 AM - Westmont Library, 428 N. Cass Ave.
Mon., Nov. 24 - 7:00 PM - Westmont Library, 428 N. Cass Ave.
Mon. Dec. 1 - 6:30 PM - Maercker District PTA, Westview Hills Middle School, 630 65th St.
Thur., Dec. 11 - 5:30 PM - Village Board Meeting, 31 W. Quincy St.
Tue., Dec. 16 - 7:00 PM - CUSD 201 Board Meeting, Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy St.
