The first annual Rock & Roll Road Rally hosted by the Westmont Special Events Corporation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8. Teams can sign up now. Registration ends Tuesday, Sept. 4 at Noon.
“It’s a clues-based scavenger hunt on wheels,” says event chair Bob Mackert. “Each participating road rally team will solve clues and engage in various challenges in an attempt to earn points and become the Rock & Roll Road Rally Champions.” Following the event, road rally teams will be invited to a post-rally party at the Knights of Columbus, which will feature the band BLUE ROAD. The finish line party and live band in the KCs courtyard will be open to the general public.
The event coordinators have been working with the Westmont Police Department to ensure event safety. This is not a race and none of the scoring is based on travel times between locations. All road rally destinations will be located in the Westmont area.
