Various DuPage County agencies as well as the DuPage Veteran’s Suicide Prevention Coalition will be hosting two events to help bring awareness to Veteran Suicide Prevention. Following is more information regarding these events:
Veterans Resource Fair
Tuesday, August 29, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Jack T. Kneupfer Building, 421 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton
First Floor Auditorium

Veteran Suicide Prevention Seminar
Tuesday, September 12, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
American Legion Post #76, 570 S. Gary Avenue, Carol Stream
This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about the prevention of Veteran suicides. The event will include presentations from guest speakers as well as an opportunity for an open conversation regarding the topic by event participants. The DuPage Veteran’s Suicide Prevention Coalition is co-chaired by the Veterans Assistance Commission of DuPage County, DuPage County Health Department, and Jesse Brown VA Hospital. Their mission is to educate the public on the prevention of Veteran suicides.
