Fire Department Promotions

Westmont, Illinois -- Date Issued: June 8, 2023

Several members of the Westmont Fire Department received promotions at the June 1, 2023 Fire Public Safety Committee meeting.

Mayor Ron Gunter and Trustee Marie Johanik-Guzzo swore in the following individuals with their new ranks:

  • Lieutenant Tim King was promoted to the rank of Captain
  • Firefighter Dan Barrett was promoted to Lieutenant
  • Fire Medic Matt McCarthy was promoted to Lieutenant
  • Fire Medic Andy Hunt was promoted to Lieutenant

The Village of Westmont congratulates everyone regarding their recent promotions and their continued dedication to the community.
