2023 Taste of Westmont

“The Taste of Westmont is one of Westmont’s wonderful summer events and we invite everyone to come to downtown Westmont July 13th through 16th to enjoy this festival that offers something for everyone,” said Steve Golembiewski, President of Westmont Special Events Corporation.  “Our volunteers work hard to put together an exciting entertainment schedule and we think we have another winning line-up.”  Golembiewski added, “I want to thank all of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and community partners including the Village of Westmont for all their support in making this event a reality.”

2023 TASTE OF WESTMONT INFORMATION

The 2023 Taste of Westmont is a 4-day festival that will feature local restaurant food vendors, two stages for live music, an all-ages carnival with wristband specials scheduled throughout the weekend, crafters, vendors, and more.

TASTE OF WESTMONT SOUTH STAGE & BEER TENT

15 MINUTES OF FAME MUSIC SHOWCASE
SUPPORTS LOCAL ORIGINAL MUSIC
Last year, the Taste of Westmont had over 100 local musicians perform on the South Stage, which is dedicated to both local and original music.  The South Stage & Beer Tent, which is located near the intersection of Irving Street and Cass Avenue, provides an opportunity for musicians of all ages and ability and also serves as a stepping stone for artists who are hoping to perform on the Taste of Westmont Main Stage.  Four musical acts that performed on the South Stage last year will be on the Main Stage this year including Haley Grimm, Shukin and the Ramblers, Connie Sipher & Michael McInerny, and Emily Cooper.  A complete list of South Stage performers will be published on the Westmont Special Events in the near future.

CARNIVAL HOURS & SPECIALS

Alpine Amusements will once again provide carnival attractions for kids of all ages.  There will be various wristband specials throughout the event.  The carnival will be open during event hours.

Saturday, July 15 – Noon-4PM ----- $30 Wristbands
Sunday, July 16 – Noon-4PM ----- $30 Wristbands

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Westmont Special Events Corporation (WSEC) is the independent, volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization behind the planning and execution of Taste of Westmont, Westmont Cruisin’ Nights, Creative Arts Network, and numerous other community events.

WSEC is seeking volunteers to sign up and help with the Taste of Westmont.  “We are so thankful and appreciative of the hundreds of volunteers who sign up and help out with the Taste of Westmont,” said Kristina Kaniauskaite, WSEC Executive Director.  “We hope that volunteers can sign up for a shift or two to support our work of continuing community events and recreation.”  Volunteers can sign up at westmontevents.com or call the WSEC office at 630-829-9378.

During the Taste of Westmont, Cass Avenue will be closed from Burlington Avenue to Naperville Road. There will be detours in place to direct traffic.
