Water and Garbage rates update annually. The garbage rate is based on the ongoing contract with Waste Management. The water distribution rate increases are related to various factors including fee adjustments by the DuPage Water Commission and other entities. Following are this year’s adjusted rates:

Effective May 2023
Westmont Residential Water Service
$16.17 for first 1000 gallons - includes $5.00 monthly service fee
$11.17 per each additional 1000 gallons
Westmont Commercial & Multi-Family Water Service
$17.17 for first 1000 gallons - includes $5.00 monthly service fee
$12.17 per each additional 1000 gallons
Unincorporated Residential Water Service
$21.76 for first 1000 gallons - includes $5.00 monthly service fee
$16.76 per each additional 1000 gallons
Unincorporated Commercial & Multi-Family Water Service
$22.76 for the first 1000 gallons - includes $5.00 monthly service fee
$17.76 per each additional 1000 gallons

$33.94 billed bi-monthly ($16.97 per month)
Westmont Residential Senior Garbage Service
$25.48 billed bi-monthly ($12.74 per month)
Yard Waste Stickers: $3.74 each
Garbage Stickers: $2.11 each
Senior Recycling & Garbage Discount
Westmont citizens age 65 and above who live in an owner-occupied, single-family residence may receive a 25% discount on their recycling and waste hauling bill. To participate, qualified citizens must fill out the Senior Recycling & Garbage Discount Form, provide proof of age, proof of property ownership, and must currently reside at the address.
