DuPage County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (OHSEM) is seeking resident feedback in regard to preparing for and responding to disasters. DuPage OHSEM has scheduled a public meeting on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the DuPage OHSEM offices, 418 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton.
The meeting will provide the public an opportunity to review the potential hazards that could occur within the County, and will request input for the various mitigation measures intended to eliminate or reduce the negative impact of those hazards. Language translation assistance in Spanish will be provided.
Community Preparedness Questionnaire
DuPage OHSEM has also created an online questionnaire for DuPage residents to solicit feedback regarding disaster preparedness and response. Results from this confidential survey will assist the County with updating their emergency preparedness plans to better serve residents and businesses before, during and after an emergency or disaster. The survey will remain open until March 30, 2023.
