On Saturday, December 3, Westmont held its annual Holly Days Frosty & Friends Parade along with its Tree Lighting Ceremony and Pictures with Santa. Frosty kicked off the parade along with our Westmont Police and Fire Departments followed by more than 30 parade entries. Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Westmont Village Board arrived in downtown Westmont on the final float and Trustee Steve Nero assisted Santa with the Tree Lighting countdown. After the tree lighting, Santa, Mrs. Claus and Frosty met with children of all ages in the Westmont Train Station for free photos. Santa pictures have been posted on the Village of Westmont photo gallery and on the Westmont Special Events/Stanley Jamburger Facebook page.
Westmont Holly Days is a month-long holiday festival featuring a variety of events for all ages. Westmont Holly Days is co-hosted by the Village of Westmont, Westmont Special Events Corporation, Westmont Chamber of Commerce, Westmont Public Library, Westmont Historical Society and the Westmont Park District.
