On Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, the Westmont American Legion Post 338 and the Westmont Park District will be coordinating the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at a new location. This will be the first time that this ceremony will be held at the memorial located at the entrance of Veterans Memorial Park, located at 75 E. Richmond Street. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and the entire community is invited to attend. In case of poor weather, this event will be held indoors at the Westmont Park District Community Center next to Veterans Memorial Park.
VILLAGE OFFICES CLOSED
The Westmont Village Hall and Village Department offices will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022 in observance of Veterans Day. Normal business hours for the Village Hall and Village Departments will resume on Monday, November 14.
After-hour bill payments can be made via the Village of Westmont after-hours drop boxes located near the entrance of the Westmont Commuter Train Station on W. Quincy St. and at the Westmont Police Department located at 500 N. Cass Ave.
Recycling and garbage collection will not be disrupted.
