On October 20, the Village of Westmont Police Department made several presentations including the swearing in of new officers, recognizing personnel for their years of service, and a promotion.
Three Police Department personnel were each honored for 20 years of service to the Village of Westmont:
- Deputy Chief Stephen Thompson - 20 years of service
- Sergeant Sean Ryan - 20 years of service
- Patrol Officer Gregory Hausner - 20 years of service
Also, Mayor Ron Gunter swore in new officers Alexander Erdmann and Lorrainea Riley. Erdmann and Riley are now in the Westmont Police Department Field Training Program.
Additionally, Mayor Gunter swore in Kristina Dominguez who was promoted to the position of Sergeant. Sgt. Dominguez has been with the Westmont Police Department since 2009 and has been a member of the investigations unit.
The Village of Westmont congratulates everyone who was recognized and thanks the entire Westmont Police Department for their dedication and service to the community.
