Westmont, Illinois -- Date Issued: June 17, 2022
“As always, we are very excited to bring this summer festival to downtown Westmont,” said Kristina Kaniauskaite, Westmont Special Events Executive Director. “Our goal is to provide fun for all ages. We hope that everyone can come out and enjoy this wonderful community event.” The 2022 Taste of Westmont is a 4-day festival that will feature local restaurant food vendors, two stages for live music, two beer tents, an all-ages carnival with wristband specials scheduled throughout the weekend, an art show, crafters, vendors, and more.
TASTE OF WESTMONT SUPPORTS LOCAL ORIGINAL MUSIC
For the second year in a row, the South Stage and Beer Tent, which is located on East Irving Street near Cass Avenue, will feature local and original music artists. “As a huge fan and supporter of local music, we’ve always worked hard to encourage local musicians to play at our events,” said Larry McIntyre, who coordinates the South Stage entertainment. “This year, we will have almost 100 musicians play on the South Stage over the 4-day event. Most of the performances will feature original music written and performed by these talented artists. If you love music and want to support local artists, then please visit the South Stage throughout the event to check out the incredible talent.” The complete list of South State entertainers can be found on the Westmont Special Events Taste of Westmont webpage.
