The Village of Westmont has recently transitioned to a new Water & Garbage Utility Billing System. These changes will include a new look to the Westmont utility bill, updated account information on e-bills, and a new online payment portal that will provide the ability to see water usage and billing history.
Starting in April, Westmont customers will receive their new utility bill, which will not only have a new look and design, but will also include a NEW Westmont Water & Garbage Utility Bill Account Number AND a separate Customer ID Number. The new Account Number and Customer ID Number will be needed to connect customers to their accounts in the new billing system. Following are several updates that you will need to make to continue various electronic payments.
RECURRING CREDIT CARD AND E-CHECKING PAYMENTS
Customers who make recurring credit card or e-checking payments through the Westmont online billing system will need to update their accounts. After customers receive their new bill, they will need to use their new Account Number and Customer ID Number to log in and re-enter their information to continue recurring credit card payments.
ONLINE BANK PAYMENTS
Residents who make online payments through their banks will need to update their account information to show Account Number - Customer ID Number (with the dash between) so that payments are applied to the new billing Account Number and Customer ID Number.
E-BILLS
NO ACTION NEEDED - Customers who are currently signed up for this service will continue to receive e-bills via the new system.
DIRECT DEBIT
NO ACTION NEEDED - Customers who are currently signed up for direct debit from their bank account will NOT need to re-enter their information.
