Westmont Special Events is teaming up with the Creative Arts Network to invite the community to sign up and participate in the Peace, Hope & Love Project. The project will consist of several components: Business Window Murals, Community Selfie Competition, and an Arts & Essay Contest. Participants can sign up online now
BUSINESS MURALS - PEACE, HOPE & LOVE PROJECT
All local businesses are invited to sign up and participate in this project. Participating businesses will be paired with one of our local Creative Arts Network artists. Artists will create their Peace Hope & Love mural with the intent of providing a great backdrop for selfie pictures. The painting of murals will be scheduled so that they will be completed in time for the selfie contest. Interested businesses can sign up online.

SELFIE CONTEST - PEACE HOPE & LOVE PROJECT
Starting Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14, selfie contest participants are invited to visit the various businesses that have PEACE HOPE & LOVE murals in their windows and take selfies or pictures of the murals, then post these pictures on the Westmont Special Events Facebook page at www.facebook.com/WestmontEvents or on Instagram using the hashtag #westmontevents. If you do not have a Facebook or Instagram account, then you can email your picture submissions to wsec@westmontevents.com. Each submitted photo will count as ONE entry in our contest drawing. All selfie contest submissions must be received by Monday, February 28, 9am.

Everyone is invited to participate in our PEACE HOPE & LOVE Art & Essay Contest. Write a poem, draw a picture, compose a song, or choose your favorite artistic medium to express why the themes of PEACE HOPE & LOVE are important to you. Send your art and essays to wsec@westmontevents.com by Sunday, February 13, then Westmont Special Events will post your submissions online to be enjoyed and appreciated by the entire community. All art/essay submissions will count as TEN entries in our contest drawing.
