Westmont Special Events invites the entire community to dress up for Halloween and come to downtown Westmont on October 23 at 10:30 a.m. to be part of the Wicked West Fest Costume Contest. The contest will be held at the intersection of Cass and Irving. There will be six categories:
- Newborn to 1 year olds
- 2-5 years old
- 6-9 years old
- 10-13 years old
- 14 & older
- Group/family category -- Must have at least 3 people
Judging criteria will include creativity and overall impact. Awards will be presented to the top 3 costumes in each category. Afterwards, everyone is invited to participate in the Trick or Treat Trail from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Also at 11 a.m. is the Pumpkin Smashing Extravaganza. And at Noon, don’t miss the Caskets on Cass Race.
