Westmont, Illinois -- Date Issued: September 16, 2021
As part of Westmont’s year-long 100th anniversary celebration, residents can now purchase a 100th Anniversary Commemorative Ceramic Plate. “We created ceramic plates for the 50th and 75th anniversaries, so we decided that we would continue the tradition and design a plate for the 100th,” said Mayor Ron Gunter, chair of the 100th Anniversary Committee. “There is a limited quantity, so for those who are interested, we suggest you order your commemorative plate now. All proceeds will go to support the Westmont Historical Society.”
Plates cost $17 each and will include a one-year membership to the Westmont Historical Society. There is a limited supply and plates will be sold on a first come, first served basis. To order a 100th anniversary commemorative ceramic plate, please use this Park District online purchase form.
To sign up and purchase in person, visit the Westmont Historical Society office at 55 E. Richmond Street. Once the plates are ready, the Westmont Historical Society will make arrangements for people to come and pick up their purchase. Plates are expected to be ready for pick-up by the end of October.
