At approximately 3:40 p.m., there was a two-car accident at the southwest corner of Cass Avenue and 63rd Street in Westmont. The driver and two passengers in one of the vehicles were injured and transported to a local hospital. The driver of the second vehicle reported no injuries. The accident resulted in a temporary closure of both Cass Avenue and 63rd Street at this intersection. Traffic was reopened approximately 4:30 p.m. No additional details are available at this time.
