Westmont, Illinois - Date Issued: November 20, 2020
Due to a dramatic surge in COVID-19 cases and its impact on the healthcare system, as well as the announcement of the State of Illinois Tier 3 COVID-19 Resurgence Mitigation Plan, the Village of Westmont will begin a modified schedule in regard to business hours open to the public. Beginning on Monday, November 23, Westmont Village Hall will be open to the public from Noon to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, on regular business days.
Village Hall will be closed for all typically observed holidays including Thanksgiving, which will be Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27. This modified schedule will be in place at least through Friday, December 4. Notification of updated Village Hall hours will be published as they are approved, which will be determined by the status of COVID cases at that time.
Currently, front offices for the Westmont Police and Fire Departments will continue regular business hours during this time.
Currently, Waste Management waste hauling and recycling services are expected to follow previously published schedules.
When the Village Hall and department offices are closed, bill payments can be made on our website using the MAKE A PAYMENT icon on the Village’s homepage. Also, bill payments can be dropped off via the Village of Westmont after-hours drop box, located near the entrance of the Commuter Train Station on West Quincy Street or the Westmont Police Department drop box located at 500 N. Cass Avenue. These payments will be processed on the next business day.
