The Village of Westmont will celebrate its 99th anniversary on November 10, 2020, which will mark the beginning of a year-long celebration and countdown to the Village’s Centennial in 2021.
Online pre-orders for Images of America: Westmont are available now. The book, published through Arcadia Publishing, retails for $21.99. It is one of over 8,000 titles in this popular series. The book is currently available for pre-order online through major national retailers, including Barnes and Noble, and at local independent booksellers, such as Anderson’s Bookshop.

Printed copies of the book will be available for purchase starting January 4, 2021. The book will be sold at the Gregg House Museum, 115 S. Linden Avenue, and at various community events to celebrate the 100th anniversary.
“It was an honor to be selected for this project,” said South, a life-long resident of Westmont who recently received the Westmont Special Events Making Memories Award for her dedication to supporting community events. “Westmont is my home and it was great to be able to let the rest of the world know how special our town is. The Westmont Area Historical Society and I have selected some of Westmont’s best known and most unique stories and images for this project.”
