“More than 50 people participated in our first modified costume and home decorating contests,” said Westmont Special Events Executive Director Kristina Kaniauskaite. “We’re very happy with the turnout and we had a lot of excellent entries. Now we ask the community to vote online for their favorite costumes and decorations.”
This past weekend, the volunteers of Westmont Special Events travelled throughout the community to take pictures of all the participants who signed up to be part of the Wicked West Fest Costume Contest and Halloween Home Decorating Contest. Pictures of all entries have been posted in photo galleries on the Westmont Special Events Facebook page. Each photo LIKE counts as a vote for that entry. People can vote for as many entries as they want. Click on the links to see all of the entries.

“We’ve been trying to get the Halloween Home Decorating Contest going for a few years, but this year we really had a good turnout,” said Westmont Special Events volunteer Steve Golembiewski. “Several of the houses are pretty impressive - a lot of effort went into these decorations. We encourage everyone to go out and see these entries in person, and then be sure to go online and vote.”
