The Richmond Gardens and Apiary (REGA) has had a busy summer. Following are some of the projects completed in 2020:
- Final grades established
- Brick pavers installed
- Stones placed in Dry Stream Bed
- Raised bed plantings installed
- Hand Pump and water reclamation tanks installed
- Potable water pump field spigot installed
- Bushes planted
- Walking paths established
- Bridge built and installed
- New concrete sidewalks poured
- Gabion baskets completed and filled with stone

REGA projects that are still expected to be completed this Fall include: Screening of public works yard, Bioswale plantings, and Stylized Native Area at southeast edge of Richmond Gardens.
REGA, located at 1 S. Richmond in Clarendon Hills, is a joint initiative between the Villages of Westmont and Clarendon Hills. The goal of the REGA project is to provide a location dedicated to promoting education programs about natural and organic gardening methods and our environment.
