The Westmont Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau has recently launched the Small Business Mega Lottery. “The Small Business Mega Lottery was created to support these businesses and keep the community thriving,” said Chamber Director Larry Forssberg. “We hope you consider buying a ticket to raise money for our struggling businesses.”
Westmont Small Business Mega Lottery Fundraiser details:
- A maximum of 30 small independent businesses are participating.
- Each participating business will provide a total of $300 in value of gift cards/certificates to be used in and around Westmont. The certificates are all redeemable effective November 1, 2020 and expire December 31, 2021. This schedule will allow businesses time to raise capital now without creating an additional financial burden.
- Raffle tickets are sold for $10 each to the general public for a chance of winning 1 of 2 Grand Prizes. Each Grand Prize will consist of $150 of gift certificates from EACH participating business. ($4,500 value for each Grand Prize)
- Ticket sales will be sold exclusively online via the Eventbrite platform. Ticket buyers will be asked to donate $10 per raffle ticket and in addition, the ticket processing fee.
- Raffle ticket sales are on sale now.
- 2 winning tickets will be drawn by the end of June 2020.
- Funds raised from ticket sales will be split equally between participating businesses.
