Each year, the Village Staff and Village Board work together to develop and adopt the annual budget. The Village Budget is typically adopted in May and runs through the end of April of the following year. The creation of the budget takes many months of preparation.
“This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be reviewing various aspects of the budget as we have conversations regarding how the coronavirus will impact our village revenues and thus affect our overall budget,” said Westmont Finance Director Spencer Parker.
This year’s budget workshop is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 4:30 p.m. Though this will be a virtual meeting as per current social distancing protocols, the public will be able to participate and submit comments online prior to the start of the meeting via link on the Village website -
