At the Westmont Public Safety Committee meeting on February 27, 2020, the Westmont Police and Fire Departments announced several promotions and one retirement as well as presented several Service Awards.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
James Halik - Promoted from Lieutenant to Captain
Joe Kielczynskito - Promoted from Captain to the position of Battalion Chief
Arnold Nolan - Promoted from Captain to the position of Battalion Chief
Kevin Sievert - Promoted from Captain to the position of Battalion Chief
Jim Fitzgerald - Promoted from Battalion Chief to the position of Deputy Chief
Leif Johnson - Retired after almost 18 years of service
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Anthony Rainaldi - Service Award, 20 years
James Schneider - Service Award, 20 years
David Newton - Service Award, 20 years
