[ARCHIVED] New Route for Holly Days Parade on Saturday, November 30

2019 Holly Days Parade Route
Westmont, Illinois
Date Issued: November 18, 2019

As usual, the Westmont Holly Days Frosty & Friends Parade will be held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in downtown Westmont on Cass Avenue.  This year’s parade will be November 30 and start at 5 p.m.  This year’s parade will have a slight route change.

Due to a variety of factors including construction at the southwest corner of Cass and Quincy, this year’s parade will head south on Cass Avenue from Naperville Road, but after crossing the railroad tracks, the parade will turn right on West Quincy Street, and then end in front of the Village Hall at 31 W. Quincy.

NOTE: The parade will no longer travel on Cass between Quincy Street and Richmond Street - parade spectators are encouraged to relocate along the new parade route.

NEW LOCATION FOR TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY AT EAST QUINCY & CASS
Additionally, due to the construction in the area, the Tree Lighting Ceremony countdown will take place in front of Westmont Center at the northeast corner of Cass & Quincy.  The Tree Lighting Ceremony will occur immediately following the end of the Frosty & Friends Parade, typically about 5:40 p.m.

After the Holly Days Tree is lit, everyone is invited to take free pictures with Santa on the lower level of Westmont Centre, One S. Cass Avenue.  For a complete listing of all Holly Days events, please visit HollyDaysFestival.com.
