    March 9 - March 19

    The Westmont Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau is delighted to invite you to the 1st Annual Westmont Restaurant Week to be held Thursday, March 9 through Sunday, March 19, 2017. This experience will truly show how you can "Dine Around the World" in Westmont! This inaugural event features a mix of fixed priced menu options at $10, $20, $30 and $40 (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). So loosen your belts and enjoy the many tasty experiences awaiting you in Westmont! Click the link below for the list of restaurants participating in this event. You can check out their special menu offerings and days of operation. Visit as often as you like and as many restaurants as you like. It's a great chance to try something new or re-connect with an old favorite! Some restaurants accept reservations, so contact directly to reserve your table.     Taste slices of delicious pizza from five local pizzerias. Vote for your favorite. Exciting raffle prizes to be won. Tickets are $5.00 in advance (sold at any of the district schools) or $8.00 at the door. Ages 4 and under are free. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. Cash only. Open to the public. 5:30-7:30

    After a brief introduction to tools and policies, you'll be able to check out the VHS to DVD kit for in-library use. Learn how to use this machine and then bring in your own computer to digitize your videos! Ages 18 and up are welcome. Registration required.

    Are you working for your yard or is your yard working for you? Learn how to create a low-maintenance garden designed with fruit and nut trees, shrubs, herbs, vines, and perennial vegetables. Presented by The Resiliency Institute. Part of the Earth Month celebration sponsored by the Westmont Public Library and the Village of Westmont's Environmental Improvement Commission.
