2018 Westmont Holly Days
Board to consider an ordinance approving the following requests from the Westmont Holly Days Committee for the 2018 Westmont Holly Days Opening Ceremony and Ugly Sweater 5K on November 24, 2018:
  1. Permit amplified sound in downtown business district near Westmont Centre 4pm to 8pm,
  2. Close West Quincy Street from Cass Avenue to Lincoln from 2pm to 8pm.
  3. Close East Quincy Street from Cass Avenue to Wilmette from 2pm to 8pm
  4. Close North Linden from Norfolk to Chicago Avenue for parade staging area 4pm to 5pm.
  5. Close sections of several streets between Burlington Avenue and Traube, west of Cass Avenue from 7am to 10am, for the Ugly Sweater 5K (per map provide.)
Background of Subject Matter
The Village of Westmont is a one of the sponsor's for the Holly Days Festival.The only change to this request from last year is the parade staging area location.
Additional Background
Holly Days is one of the favorite events for Westmont.

2018 Proclamation - Fairness & Equality
Board to approve a proclamation declaring that the Village of Westmont is proud to support the Fairness & Equity Campaign coordinated in celebration with the December 3, 2018 200th anniversary of the State of Illinois.

a.
Increase in Available Liquor Licenses
Board to consider an ordinance to increase the number of available Class 2 Liquor Licenses by one (1) for Full Circle Partners D/B/A/ Neat Kitchen & Bar at 246 North Cass Avenue. 
Background of Subject Matter
Full Circle Partners has applied for a Class 2 Liquor License which is for all liquors with the main business being a restaurant. A background review has been conducted and Full Circle Partners is eligible to receive a Class 2 Liquor License.
Additional Background
Full Circle Partners/Neat Kitchen & Bar are the new owners and are keeping the same name for the business. Both owners have previous restaurant experience and are looking forward to being in Westmont.

700 Oakmont Lane - Zoning Variances & Site Plan
Board to consider an ordinance approving the following requests from the Ryan Companies US Inc. regarding the property located at 700 Oakmont Lane, Westmont, IL 60559 for the following:
  1. Zoning Code Variance request to allow parking within the front yard setback in the O/R Office/Research District.
  2. Zoning Code Variance request to increase the maximum number of wall signs permitted in the O/R Office/Research District. 
  3. Site and Landscaping Plan approval. 
Background of Subject Matter
Redevelopment of existing, vacant building into new market Class A office building. Proposal to demolish interior and portion of exterior structure. New exterior building elevations & interiors along with parking spaces & redesign of existing parking.
Additional Background
Extensive changes to existing landscaping on the northern parcel allowing for expanded parking. Petitioner provided landscape easement documents indicating that Mayslake Village to the north has approved changes to the existing landscape berm proposed.
Recommendation
Staff recommends approval subject to the petitioner's compliance with all outstanding issues addressed in the staff reports, including the review of pedestrian access, and location of handicapped parking spaces, prior to issuance of permits.

Health Program Agreement
Board to consider an ordinance approving an agreement between the Westmont Fire Department and Adventist Bolingbrook Health to allow for the required physicals of firefighters. 
Background of Subject Matter
This hospital will provide better services and better rates than the previous provider, Edwards Hospital.

Merchant Services Agreement
Board to consider an ordinance approving an agreement for merchant card processing services with PaymentSpring.

The credit card processor we currently use will no longer be supported by our finance software, this requires changing processors.
