Board to consider an ordinance accepting the bid proposal from A-Lamp Concrete Contractors, Inc. for the Village’s CBD Alley Reconstruction Section E Project, and authorizing a contract consistent with the bid documents.
Background of Subject Matter
The Village accepted bid proposals from 4 contractors for the CBD Alley Reconstruction SecE Project. The low bidder is A-Lamp Concrete Contractors with a low bid of $619,374.75 (approx 1% below the Engineer’s Estimate of $624,803.00).

Award A-Lamp's Bid in the amount of $619,374.75.

Independent Contractor Agreement
Board to consider approving an ordinance approving an Independent Contractor Agreement with Elyn Gullotto for graphic, web design, social media, and communications related services as described in the agreement.

Due to the recent resignation of our part-time Communications Specialist employee, we have an immediate need for assistance in these areas.

In addition, due to restructuring the position, some of the functions will be filled internally, leaving some to be outsourced.

Temporary Class 7 Liquor License
Board to consider an ordinance approving the Liquor Commissioner's issuance of a temporary Class 7 Liquor License to PH OBH Hotel Owner LLC, 3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523.  
Background of Subject Matter
Due to a change in the ownership and management company, a temporary liquor license issuance is required to allow for the uninterrupted sale and service of alcohol for a 90 day period.
Additional Background
A formal background check will be conducted before the issuance of a permanent license to PH OBH Hotel Owner LLC.
