Fire Pension Trustee Reappointment
Board to consider a motion approving Mayor Gunter's reappointment of Fire Chief David Weiss and Finance Director Spencer Parker as members of the Board of Trustees of the Fire Pension Fund.
Background of Subject Matter
The two civilian members appointed by the Mayor serve 3-year terms. The current Board also includes the one active participant.
Additional Background
In the future, if the pension membership grows, the Pension Board could include one additional active member and one beneficiary. Active and beneficiary members would be elected by their respective members.

Increase in Available Liquor License
Board to consider an ordinance granting the following approvals for Uncle Bubs BBQ & Catering:
  1. Increase the number of available Class 18  (Catering) liquor licenses by one (1); and
  2. Waiving the annual license fees after payment of the initial $1,000.00 license fee.
Background of Subject Matter
Uncle Bubs has applied for a Class 18 Catering liquor license which will allow them to sell and serve alcohol at catered events.
Additional Background
Uncle Bubs BBQ will retain their Class 2 and Class 23 liquor licenses and seek the addition of the catering liquor license to allow for an enjoyable catering experience for their customers.

Text Amendment - Restrictions on Issuance of Liquor License
Board to consider an ordinance amending Sec 10-33 (b)(3) of the Village Code regarding restrictions on issuance of a liquor license within 100 ft of an undertaking establishment or mortuary.


Background of Subject Matter
Current ordinance requires a 100 ft distance from an undertaking establishment or mortuary to a liquor licensed business. This restriction was removed from the Illinois State statutes.
Additional Background
In order to mirror state statutes we recommend removal of this 100 ft requirement as it pertains to undertaking establishments or mortuaries.

Kurtz Ambulance Contract Extension
Board to consider an ordinance to approve a one year service contract renewal with Kurtz Ambulance.
Background of Subject Matter
The current contract with Kurtz expired on 4/30/2018 - the extension will run for one year. Additionally, the Village has the option for 2 annual renewals not to exceed 2% of the previous contract price.

Audio Visual Production Contract
Board to consider an ordinance to approve an audio visual contract with Kaleidoscope Communications.

AT&T Lease Amendment
Board to consider an ordinance to approve a renegotiated cellular lease agreement with AT&T and extension to 2051 for the site located at 55th and Wilmette water tower.

This agreement has been approved by our attorney and theirs.

Intergovernmental Agreement with DuPage County
Board to consider an ordinance approving an intergovernmental agreement with
DuPage County regarding right of way improvements and maintenance on North
Cass Avenue. 
Background of Subject Matter
The agreement is written to address corridor beautification along North Cass Avenue on DuPage County right of way, in Westmont. The corridor will eventually include raised medians, street trees and lighting, and a gateway sign.
Additional Background
This IGA authorizes the Village to act as the lead agency in ensuring installation and maintenance of the existing and proposed median in the North Cass right-of-way. The draft IGA and landscaping/median plans are attached.

Amendment to Administrative Code Hearing System
Board to consider an ordinance amending various sections of Chapter 1 of the Village Code of Ordinances regarding the Village Administrative Code Hearing System.
Background of Subject Matter
The Village previously approved an ordinance to establish an administrative adjudication system for violations of Village ordinances, including Building Code violations.
Additional Background
This proposed amendment clarifies the statutory authority to adjudicate Building Code violations and includes other miscellaneous amendments.
