The preliminary budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 was prepared by staff, presented, reviewed and discussed with the Village Board and the public at the 4/15/2021 Budget Workshop.

245 North Cass B-1 Permit for Good Juju Yoga

Board to consider an ordinance to allow Good Juju Yoga, LLC to obtain a B-1 Development Permit to operate a yoga studio at 245 North Cass Avenue.
Background of Subject Matter
Good Juju Yoga LLC is a yoga studio and fitness center. This is a permitted use in the B-1 District.

Voluntary Annexation - 409-419 63rd Street

Board to consider an ordinance approving the voluntary annexation of three contiguous properties under common ownership located at 409-419 63rd Street.  
Background of Subject Matter
These properties are contiguous to the Village due to the recent annexation at 6303 South Richmond. The property owner is seeking voluntary annexation into the Village.
Additional Background
Upon annexation, these properties will automatically be rezoned to the R-1 Residential District. They may be rezoned either by the Village or at the request of the owner only after a public hearing.

Award of Bid Proposal - 2021-2022 CBD Alley Reconstruction Project Section G

Board to consider an ordinance accepting the bid proposal from R.W. Dunteman Company for the Village's 2021-2022 CBD Alley Section G Reconstruction Project, and authorizing a contract consistent with the bid documents.
Background of Subject Matter
The Village accepted one bid proposal from R.W. Dunteman for the 2021-2022 CBD Alley Section G Reconstruction Project. R.W. Dunteman bid was for $577,000, which was 9% below the engineer's estimate of $608,839.
Additional Background
CBD Alley G is the L shaped Alley that runs from S. Lincoln St. To W. Richmond Ave. Phase 1 of the project will be completed Fall of 2021 and Phase 2 will be completed in the Spring of 2022.
Recommendation
Staff recommends awarding the contract to R.W. Dunteman for the bid price of $577,000.
