Board to approve a resolution to endorse the 2018 Legislative Action Program of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference.

Hudson Energy
Board to consider an ordinance approving a contract with Hudson Energy for the  natural gas supply to Village owned properties.
Background of Subject Matter
Hudson Energy is a broker that will negotiate the lowest rate for energy purchase. There is no fee for this service, it is built into the rate.

PACE Agreement
Board to consider an ordinance approving a Release and Hold Harmless Agreement with PACE for emergency bus services.
Background of Subject Matter
PACE has historically provided free buses to the Village in response to emergencies.The buses are used as warming shelters for firefighters in the winter, are used to transport residents after fires & other emergencies, & are used for evacuation services.
Additional Background
In order to continue providing this free emergency bus service to the Village, PACE requires that the Village approves a Release and Hold Harmless Agreement which provides indemnification to PACE.

Water Rate Adjustment
Board to consider an ordinance amending water rates.
Background of Subject Matter
This increase will be effective on the first bill issued after 5/1/2018. As discussed at committee meetings, to continue to provide for infrastructure needs, the Village must increase water rates by $0.40 per year over the next few years.
Additional Background
In addition, this increase includes passing on increases from the DuPage Water Commission and the City of Chicago.

Board to consider an ordinance approving the selection of the Village’s independent audit firm and authorizing staff to execute an engagement letter.

The auditor is selected for Fiscal Years 2018, 2019, and 2020, with the possibility for extending up to an additional three years.

2018 Village of Westmont Official Zoning Map
Board to consider an ordinance approving the revised Village of Westmont zoning map dated December 31, 2017 as the official 2018 zoning map.
Background of Subject Matter
State statute requires corporate authorities to publish a map showing existing zoning uses, divisions, restrictions, regulations, & classifications of the municipality for the preceding calendar year. Staff recommends approval of the attached map.
