Remainder of police restroom remodel contract to remodel 4 restrooms which are functionally outdated. An installment payment of $16,077 is included in the finance ordinance and will be approved simultaneously with the purchase order.
Additional Background
The contract was approved at the 12/6/2018 Board meeting. The Purchase Order for the deposit of $32,154 was approved at the 1/17/2019 meeting. This Purchase Order is for the balance of the project costs.

Board to consider an ordinance approving the following requests from the Westmont Special Events Corporation for the 2019 Taste of Westmont event:

The WSEC will be hosting their annual Taste of Westmont July 11-14, 2019 in Downtown Westmont on Cass Avenue from Naperville Road to Burlington Avenue. All of the requests for this year are the same as last year.

As discussed at the 2/14/2019 Admin/Finance Committee, a municipal advisor provides assistance in the process of issuing bonds.

PW Facility Bonds
Board to consider an ordinance authorizing the issuance of General Obligation Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2019 in one or more series, of the Village of Westmont, DuPage County, Illinois, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $17,500,000 for the purpose of financing the costs of certain capital projects within the Village and paying for costs related thereto.

Background of Subject Matter
This is the next step is to issue bonds to finance the Public Works Facility. The need for the new facility is based on existing facility conditions, state environmental regulations, and direction in the Village's Strategic Plan.
Additional Background
The need for the facility has been discussed at multiple committee meetings of the Village Board and in a series of community meetings.

IL Commerce Commission Stipulated Agreement
Board to consider an ordinance authorizing an agreement from the Illinois Commerce Commission Transportation Bureau/Rail Safety Section concerning installation of pavement delineators at grade crossings along the BNSF line.
Background of Subject Matter
This 2002 agreement covers the monitoring of grade crossing safety elements and is to be signed by all the municipalities along the rail line.

2019 Village of Westmont Official Zoning Map
Board to consider an ordinance approving the revised Village of Westmont zoning map dated December 31, 2018 as the official 2019 zoning map.
Background of Subject Matter
State statute requires corporate authorities to publish a map showing existing zoning uses, divisions, restrictions, regulations, & classifications of the municipality for the preceding calendar year. Staff recommends approval of the attached map.
