Westmont Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau Open House
Board to consider an ordinance approving a liquor license fee waiver for the 2019 Westmont Chamber of Commerce Open House scheduled for February 20th, 2019.
Background of Subject Matter
The WCCTB is seeking a waiver of the $100 license fee for a Class 11 license for their Open House on February 20, 2019, at the Taiwanese Cultural Center.
Additional Background
A Class 11 license is a special event license good for only one day at the specified address. The Chamber is asking for the license fee waiver and license to allow them to serve beer and wine to their guests at the Open House.

a.
4 W 63rd Street - Special Use Permit and Site/Landscaping Plan Approval
Board to consider an ordinance approving the following requests from Eliou BK, LLC regarding the property located at 4 W. 63rd Street as provided below:
  1. Special Use Permit to operate a fast-food restaurant with drive-thru on the property in the C-1 Commercial Business District.
  2. Zoning variation to permit a reduction in required parking.
  3. Site and Landscaping plan.
Background of Subject Matter
The property at 4 W 63rd Street is an existing Burger King restaurant for which the owner is proposing to substantially remodel and improve.
Recommendation
Planning & Zoning Commission made a unanimous positive recommendation at the 1/9/19 public meeting.

Engineering Agreement
Board to consider an ordinance authorizing a complete design and engineering services agreement with Baxter and Woodman for the Washington Street Water Main Improvements.
Background of Subject Matter
The project includes approximately 2,000 lineal feet of 8-inch water main replacement on Washington Street, between Naperville Road and Burlington Avenue.
Additional Background
The proposal estimates that the project will not exceed $40,200 for design services and $69,500 for construction services, for a total not-to-exceed fee of $109,700.

Lease amendment and renewal - Maercker School District
Board to consider an ordinance approving a First Amendment to Lease and Lease Renewal with Maercker School District No. 60 for space as Westmont Centre.
Background of Subject Matter
This agreement allows Maercker to exercise their option to renew their lease for space at Westmont Centre for an additional 3 years. CAM expenses are increased from $7.00/sq.ft. to $8.71/sq.ft. The extended lease term runs from 7/01/19 – 6/30/22.
Additional Background
This agreement also allows Maercker to lease 613 sq.ft. of additional space at Westmont Centre for a 3 month period (6/01/19 – 8/31/19) at no charge.
