Increase in Available Class 23 Liquor Licenses
Board to consider an ordinance increasing the number of available Class 23 liquor licenses by one (1) for Leji Corp d/b/a/ Fremont Bar and Grill, 1115 Fairview Avenue, Westmont.
Background of Subject Matter
Leji Corp d/b/a/ Fremont Bar & Grill, 1115 Fairview Ave, submitted an application for a Class 23 liquor license. This allows them to obtain a video gaming license/permission from the Illinois Gaming Board.
Additional Background
A Class 23 license is required to provide/allow video gaming by the Illinois Gaming Board. Fremont Bar & Grill wishes to provide video gaming as an amenity to customers. The primary business will continue to be that of a restaurant.
Recommendation
The Board must determine to increase the number of Class 23 license by one (1) if desired. The number of Class 23 licenses is capped as previously discussed by the Board. Fremont Bar & Grill is eligible to apply for and receive a Class 23 license.

Extension of Temporary Liquor License - Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort
Board to consider an ordinance approving an extension of a temporary liquor license for PH OBH Hotel Owner LLC d/b/a/ Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort and Conference Center, 3500 Midwest Rd. 
Background of Subject Matter
An extension is needed to allow out of state management personnel the opportunity to be fingerprinted for the required background check. Some but not all personnel have been fingerprinted.
Additional Background
It has been difficult in obtaining out of state fingerprints of the necessary personnel in order to meet the fingerprint submission requirements. It is anticipated this will be the last extension needed. The extension is requested until February 28, 2019.

16 W Burlington Avenue - Special Use, Variance & Site/Landscaping Plan Approval
Board to consider an ordinance for a special use permit and a site/landscaping plan approval for a building expansion at 16 W Burlington Avenue as provided below:
  1. Special Use Permit to allow the first floor to the building to be used for offices in the B-1 General Business District.
  2. Site and Landscaping Plan approval.
Background of Subject Matter
The property at 16 W Burlington is the former home of Garbo Hair Design.
Recommendation
Planning & Zoning Commission made a unanimous positive recommendation at the 1/9/19 public meeting.

Village Of Westmont In Lieu Of Surety Bond For IDOT
Board to consider a resolution to the Illinois Department of Transportation for the years 2019 and 2020 that the Village of Westmont hereby pledges its good faith and guarantees that all work shall be performed in accordance with conditions of all permits granted by the department.
Background of Subject Matter
This resolution is acceptable in lieu of surety bond for municipal employees to perform permit work in the State rights-of-way.

Lease Agreement - Konica Minolta
Board to consider an ordinance authorizing an agreement with Konica Minolta for a new five year multi-function device lease and maintenance agreement.
Background of Subject Matter
The current lease agreement expires April 2019. Konica Minolta proposed a new 5 year agreement with new equipment for approximately $36,000/year. This will replace the existing lease agreement costing the Village approximately $52,000/year.
