Compensation, Contracts & Agreements
In accordance with PA 097-0609, after approving a budget, the Village must post total compensation packages for individuals who have a total compensation package that exceeds $75,000 per year. In accordance with PA 097-0609, the Village must also post total compensation packages for individuals who have a total compensation package that equals or exceeds $150,000 per year at least 6 days prior to approval of such compensation packages. A physical copy of total compensation packages, as well as information regarding various municipal contracts & agreement, is available at the Village Clerk’s Office, Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy Street from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays, except for Village-observed holidays. Additional information regarding the Village Budget and various expenditures may be obtained through the Finance Department.

LEGAL NOTICE - NOTICE OF ORDINANCE NO: 18-086 PREVAILING WAGE RATES
TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Westmont, pursuant to "An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other workers employed in any public works by the State, County, City or any public body or any political subdivision or by anyone under contract for public works," approved June 26, 1941, as amended, the general prevailing rate of wages in this locality for laborers, mechanics, and other workers engaged in the construction of public works coming under the jurisdiction of the Village of Westmont is hereby ascertained to be the same as the County area as determined by the Department of Labor of the State of Illinois, the last available copy effective September 2017 which amended in both April 11, 2018 and May 24, 2018. The adoption by the Village of Westmont shall include any minor amendments made from time to time by the County.
A copy of the full Ordinance and the Department of Labor determination is available for inspection by any interested party in the main office of the Village of Westmont, 31 W Quincy Street, Westmont, IL 60559, and to any employer; association of employers and any person of employee or association of employees who have filed, or file their names and addresses, requesting copies of the same.

Public Meetings
To help ensure good communication between municipal government and the community, the Village of Westmont airs live and records all open Village meetings so that the public may have the opportunity to view these proceedings from home. Meetings are played back on Comcast Ch. 6 and AT&T Ch. 99, Village meetings are also available on YouTube.
Illinois Municipal League
The Village of Westmont is a member of the Illinois Municipal League (IML). The IML was created for the purpose of uniting local governments to assist with advocacy through one common voice. More information can be obtained from the IML website.
