What is Listen Everywhere?

Listen Everywhere is an assistive listening app that allows you to stream live high-quality audio directly to your cell phone that can be adjusted to your personal volume preference.

How can I connect?

  • Connect to the Village of Westmont Free WiFi network "VOW_Guest".
  • Find "Listen Everywhere" in your app store and download the free app to your cell phone.
  • When you open the app, select "Board Room" as your channel.
  • Connect your hearing aids, headphones or earbuds to your phone, and all the audio from the microphones will be streamed directly to your device. Adjust your volume settings to what is comfortable to you and enjoy!

Can I use the old Assistive Listening Devices?

Yes! Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. Our ALDs transmit sound from a live microphone, directly to a set of headphones or induction loop. Westmont offers headphones, or you can bring your own if you wish.

ALDs are available free-of-charge at all meetings on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like an ALD, please ask a staff member who will retrieve one for you.

A valid photo ID will be required if using an Assisted Listening Device and will be returned at the conclusion of your use of the device.
