State law, as well as local ordinances, requires that the Village of Westmont publishes a complete set of financial statements presented in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and audited in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards by a firm of licensed certified public accountants. These financial statements must be published within six months of the close of each fiscal year. The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is a summary of the municipality’s fiscal affairs and is published on the Village website.
