The Office of the Village Clerk is responsible for a variety of record keeping and licensing programs. On a routine basis, the Village clerk’s office records the official minutes of Village Board meetings, acts as secretary to the mayor and the Village Board, provides for the publishing of all new Village ordinances and their systematic inclusion in the Municipal Code Book, and maintains other Village records.
The Village clerk’s office is responsible for the intake of all monies regarding business with the Village of Westmont. The clerk’s office collects fees for water bills, garage sale permits, refuse stickers, yard waste stickers, and business licenses. The clerk’s office is also a location for voter registration.
After-hour bill payments can be made by dropping them off in the after-hours drop box, located near the entrance of the Commuter Train Station on west Quincy Street. All after-hour payments are processed the next business day.
