Inspection Fees
In addition to all other fees, there shall be inspection fees added to the total permit costs as follows:

  • $50 for each residential inspection
  • $100 for each non-residential inspection

For new single family homes, the inspection fee shall be a flat fee of $800. For new non-commercial buildings, the inspection fee shall be a flat fee of $1,000 (for multi-family is shall be $1,000 per dwelling unit).

If specialized inspections are necessary, the cost of said inspection shall be paid by the permit holder.

If an inspection fails, there shall be a re-inspection fee of $50 for each failed residential inspection, and $100 for each failed commercial inspection. These fees shall be paid prior to the Certificate of Occupancy being issued, or deducted from bond.

Impact Fees
Impact fees are applicable for new construction on property not previously developed., or other projects as required by the Director. For details on how to estimate impact fees, see Section 4.05, 4.06, and 4.07 of the Westmont Subdivision Ordinance.
