Do I Need A Permit?
Projects that require Building Permits include, but are not limited to the following (Please note that his list is not all inclusive, please call if your project is not listed):

Commercial
  • Additions 
  • Antennas
  • Demolition
  • Electric (including service upgrades)
  • Fences, if more than 8 lineal feet is installed, replaced, or repaired
  • Generators
  • New buildings and structures
  • New accessory buildings and structures
  • Parking Lots (including new construction, repairs, resurfacing and striping)
  • Plumbing (including bathroom remodels)
  • Remodeling and renovations (including build-outs)
  • Repairs (including HVAC, roofs, etc.)
  • Signs (including face changes and temporary)
  • Swimming pools/hot tubs
  • Tenant build outs
  • Windows & door replacement

Residential
  • Additions 
  • Antennas
  • Concrete flat work (including patios, service walks, driveways, etc.)
  • Demolition
  • Decks, pergolas
  • Electric (including service upgrades)
  • Fences, if more than 8 lineal feet is installed, replaced, or repaired
  • Generators
  • HVAC
  • New buildings and structures
  • New accessory buildings and structures
  • Parking Lots (including new construction, repairs, resurfacing and striping)

Engineering / Stormwater
  • Land disturbance that is greater than 5000 square feet
  • Projects consisting of new impervious of 2500 sq. ft., or greater, after subtracting existing impervious from proposed impervious
  • Projects in floodplains, buffers or wetlands
  • Regrading of yards/property

ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE: Please note that depending on the project, a combination of one or all types of permits may be necessary and subject to the fees listed herein.
