Fire Prevention Bureau
The Westmont Fire Prevention Bureau consists of one full-time director, one full-time administrative assistant and six part-time personnel who are tasked with surveying all inspectable occupancies within the Village each year. Our prevention, education and training efforts are vital to our mission of eliminating or reducing the impact of fire and other emergency situations. Additional duties performed by the Westmont Fire Prevention Bureau include fire alarm and sprinkler system acceptance tests, new construction plan review, school visits, compliant review, follow-ups and special assignments.
